Bereavement
Dramatherapy is a form of psychotherapy that uses playful techniques from theatre and drama such as make-believe/role-play, dress up/masks, theatre games, dramatic play, mythology & story making as well as other forms of play, art, music and movement to engage a person in therapy.
It unlocks opportunity to explore, understand and manage unhelpful thoughts and behaviours.
With carefully selected methods it caters to personality, age and interests in order to support psychological healing.
It is not necessary to have any drama experience, the child’s/youth’s interests are drawn upon to create a connection for therapy in a safe and secure environment.
